Age Difference

Diamond Member
I recently got divorced from my wife. I am 46 and she is 28. We got together when I was 39 and she was 21. At that time, I was more leary of the age difference than she was. Age is what got us in the long run. We had no children together.

Now that I'm single again, I decided not to date anyone younger than 35. However, I can't even find 35+ year old women. All that I can find are 28-32 year old women to date.

Should I ignore the younger women that are coming on to me and keep trying to find someone my own age?

P.S. The younger women sure are fun though.

if you are 46 i would at least find someone in the 40's. 30 year olds and a person almost 50 are in totally different parts in their lives

I would think that people change more between 21 and 28 than they do between 28 and 46.

Just a thought.

Actually, it's pretty flattering that younger women find me attractive at my advanced age, but I really would like to find a more mature woman.

I think, by my age, most women have been burned so many times that they have taken themselves out of the market.

P.S. Demi Moore, I'm available. 😉

yo, dude, i'll take the younger women off your hands! (there is just something about the early 20's that is irresistable. maybe the fact that gravity hasn't taken it's toll yet :beer😉

I'm too young to really offer much personal advice, but I do know the correct formula for your situation:

(Your Age) / 2 + 6 = (Minimum Age You Should Be Looking At)

Following the information you provided...

46 / 2 + 6 = 29 minimum. 🙂

I'm not talking about the early twenties. My women are in the late twenties to the early thirties. You can have all the early twenties you want.

Where did that come from? Sounds too good to be true to me.

Where did this BS "rule" come from?

I'd say don't worry about it . . . most of the chicks that are attracted to me are about half my age.

Age is relative and a non-issue with me (over 18).

Edit: you young guys can "stuff" your age "rules". 😛

Not really, I just think that by the time women get into their thirties, they have been burned by a lot of a$$holes so they are truely looking for nice guys.

Since I am not a "nice" guy, the young chicks must be attracted to my experience. . . . yeah, "experience" . . . that's it. 😀

Young guys still have to compete with us older guys for the girls, evidently.

Unfortunately, I think nice guys get equally screwed over by women....I believe I am case in point.
