I know this has been asked countless times but this time I'll pay attention...😉

Fresh install coming up (drive Image) and I want to make sure I have all my latest addresses.

Oh, sorry. Outlook Express. That I have no idea. Why not just copy the entire folder onto a disk and overwrite when you do the reinstall.

What I wanted were the vcf files. I copied them straight into a word Doc. and found out what they were called that way.I never could find where they were in windows so I got them by running express and copying from there. I tried the other way you suggested and it does not work. They vanish when you format C. Thanks anyway and go grap a tenspot from the cash ....😉

open up address book, click file -> export -> Address book (WAB) and type file name. save that file for next time and click import -> Address Book (WAB).

I personally do comma seperated values for my exports.

Just do file --> export --> address book --> comma seperated values

drop it to disk

To restore, pull up outlook when ready, do file --> import --> other address book --> comma seperated values

Point it to your floppy drive, and then you are good to go.
