Aftermarket cooling for the Radeon HD 4870 x2?

I see load temps hit over 80c on this card. I have one but haven't installed it yet. Should I do liquid cooling of the cpu and gpu, or just leave the stock fan on the GPU and buy a good Zalman 9700 for CPU?

Depends, how are your funds? Watercooling a HD4870X2 is pretty bad ass. You COULD sell your HD4870X2 though, and get this one instead: http://en.expreview.com/2008/1...-x2-golden-sample.html

I saw the Palit version. Same thing.

But, I can't afford the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to support that puppy in the case. My daughter's Xaser case is already weighing in around 40 lbs loaded! Also, unless LIBOR comes down about 3 points I won't be able to re-finance my home to buy that sucka'.
