I need another cooler to push this baby more without worrying about temperatures.

Right now it's sitting at 900/1300. Want to try to push it to 1000/1400-1500 .

Anyone know what coolers will fit on it? I know for sure that Thermalright Shaman will fit on it, looking for alternatives before I grab this one.

Hey Badboy,

On your 6950 is it loud idle? I'm hoping since I wouldn't over clock mine and I only play BC2 that the fan does not rev up too much or get too loud...I get my xfx 6950 on weds...

Without overclock it runs pretty quiet as long as the card is supplied cool air.

It's not loud or anything if you keep stock setting but I am pushing my card hard so I want good cooling.

I got it in today and installed it. Took me 30 minutes.

How good is it? 50 degrees celsius max temp so far in kombuster running oc'ed at 900/1400 :) and the fan noise is less than my case fans, namely scythe s-flex f and 1200 rpm slipstream.

A freaking + .

Idle goes down to 23 degress lol.

Those are some great temps, is your 6950 shader unlocked?

Also, were you able to use the supplied RAM/VRM heatsinks on your card, I read somewhere that they weren't compatible with AMD cards?
