What are my options? The stock HSF seems to be nothing special. I would like to do some overclocking without harming the card. I know there are the Thermaltake orb products, the blue, orange, and crystal (not sure what the differences are). There are seems to be some new cooler (the one tyan is using), but the only place I can find that sells it is ocsystems. Any info grealty appreciated.

Also, does removing the stock HSF void my warranty? In case of a an RMA, is it possible to reattach the stock HSF?

This is about the nicest looking heatsink I've ever seen I'm not sure about the overall performance. But damn it looks sweet.

edit: Removing the stock heatsink most certainly voids your warantee. If you are worried about RMA, just don't hard modify the card in any way shape or form. No Warantee is just part of the territory for hardcore overclocking.

I'm also thinking of upgrading the cooling. However, doesn't the copper shim around the core prevent contact between the core and the heatsink? Unless some aftermarket HSF manufacturer takes that into consideration and produces a cooler that manages to get some contact with the core...don't feel like applying globs of AS3 just to fill up the gap.
