Aftermarket 230mm fans

SP33Demon

Was wondering if any good 230's are out yet? My case has 3 already, but wondering if I could find more powerful ones. Otherwise I'll just go with 12 120's... 🙂

They're freaking whisper quiet, I don't even know my comp is on until I hear the hard drive. Was hoping to get higher than the 110CFM for some extreme overclocking...

Here are the current stats on case:
Front: 230 x 30 mm red LED fan x 1, 700 RPM, 110 CFM, 19 dBA
Side: 230 x 30 mm standard fan x 1, 700 RPM, 110 CFM, 19 dBA (support 120 x 25 fan x 4)
Top: 230 x 30 mm standard fan x 1, 700 RPM, 110 CFM, 19 dBA (support 120 mm fan x 3 or 120 mm x 1 + 230 x 30 mm x 1)
Rear: 140 x 25 mm standard fan x 1, 1200 RPM, 17 dBA (support 120 mm fan x 1)

May get the Scythe 140 (104CFM) but that's 41 dBA. Not sure I want that noisy a fan, may just have to wait until better ones are made.

I haven't seen much in the way of 230 mm fans, so what you've got is probably all there is (all the better to rope you in for OEM replacements at high bucks). And all the 250s that are out there seem to be basically the same. All I see when I do a search are cases that have them, but no replacements. There aren't even many 140s out there and cases that have mounts for them have been available for at least a year (Cooler Master 690). Nothing other than Antec OEM for their 200mm fan mount either. They got ya by the short hairs...
