Cliffs:

  • PC Exclusive
  • Post-apocalyptic action TPP horror game.
  • Made by Polish indie developer.
  • Uses Unreal Engine
PC requirements:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2Ghz, AMD Athlon 64 x2 2Ghz or better
RAM: 2GB for Windows XP and 3GB for Windows Vista or Windows 7
GRAPHICS: 256 MB, DirectX 9.0c i Shader 3.0 (GeForce 8600GT / ATI equivalent or better)
OS: Windows XP SP 2 / Windows Vista / Windows 7

To me this game looks pretty interesting.. I really hope it gets 10million pre-orders. :)

---

Sorry, but this smells like a scam.

afterfall-universe.com is a Polish site promising to deliver the game for $1 only if they receive ten million pre-orders. If they don't reach that astronomical number, they promise to give the money to "charity," but there is absolutely no way to verify or enforce any accountability. Which charity, and how does anyone know if they will actually do this?

Nope, not going to happen. If they said "100,000" then there would be a slight chance of it happening.

Lol at 10 million. The Humble Indie Bundle doesn't even get remotely close to that many people and you can set your own price.

10 million? Are people retarded? They expect to become overnight multi millionaires from a not-well-known title? Modern Warfare 2 got less than half that, and I think it was the most pre-ordered game of all time.

lol that's a pretty comical offer. Maybe if everyone interested ordered 10000 copies they might hit their mark!

You can get this game for just $1, it's cheaper than some DLC for the other games.
If they don't reach their goal, money will go for the charity, so i think it's fair.

This is just a cheap attempt to get people to donate to charity then. 10 million is an impossible number to hit so why pretend you're doing people a service when you know they're never going to get the game out of it? Seems pretty sleezy to me, at least the humble indie bundle let you choose where your money was going and didn't pretend you were going to get a free game if you chose to give x amount to charity.

Putting that aside, I've always paid more than average for the Humble Bundles because they come with good games that are usually more than worth the price. Plus they usually throw in a bunch of extra games after you've already paid.. haha

Or it's a clever marketing scam since they know they will never have to sell the game for $1.

It might even involve having people join forums just to spam ads for the game.

Is the money being held in escrow? If not the vague promise of going "to charity" when the marketing campaign is over doesn't mean much. The charity might be the "buy the CEO a sports car fund."
