Edited, but if nothing changes, this will soon be back to I will be leaving.

Just tired of the hypocrites that hang around here. I guess the must be bi-polar. (this isn't to be offending to anyone who truely is bi-polar, just the hypocrites.)

LD

PS, in no way will this effect gamebox, I just won't be submitting blocks. I will still keep to the IRC chat and the lurking.

LD, I didn't see the original post, however, We are a community of volunteers, as in any such group we come from widely variable cultural and economic perspectives. This will give large variation in the way anything is perceived, to operate in such a group you must learn to accept that some people will not see things the way you do. No matter how stupid or irrational their actions may seem to you, in their world they may make perfect sense.

LD:

I didn't see the original post either (who did? ;)) but I know that I would REALLY miss you... I'm glad you aren't quitting forums or GB tho'... that way we'll still have you as a part of the TeAm

I really hope we'll be able to get the fun back in these forums or the team will suffer... In one of those "hate" threads where people have been getting angry (AGAIN) I think it was MWalkden made a point out of this... We're doing this for FUN! I think we've got a chance, when the WWW box comes online (I thought I heard it soon will come...) and what with Mika's stats and your GB LD...

Summary: This is a GREAT team, what makes it great is this:

THE PEOPLE WHO ARE PART OF IT!

All of them.

I have nothing but respect for the work you've done LD, and I think you know that... even tho' I pester you sometimes in the IRC channel :p ([shameless plug]come and join on the fun at irc.worlirc.org port: 6667 and join channel #teamanandtech ;)[/shameless plug])

Anyway have a nice saturday and enjoy the good things in life

With love and respect your fellow TA member

LD, the team really needs your support, and I ain't talking about blocks. The core of this team must find a way to express itself and keep the history alive. Leaving will not accomplish that. If anything it allows it to further fall into obscurity.

I thank you guys for the words of support. In leaving the team, I won't be using the D.net client anymore. I'm tired of it not working quite right. I'm tired of people trying to spam off of it. I won't leave the forums, and I will still lurk the way I usually do so any questions I can answer I will. Your not loosing a team member, your loosing my herd. Power bills and other items, have made rc5 almost un-plesent.

I will still hang here for the people. After, all, we only have one or two bad apples here in my mind.

I know what you mean about getting tired of RC5. That's why I switch between so many various projects. I'm doing SETI at the moment, but if I wasn't in a race right now, I'd be trying out the Golem project that is the first link in my .sig. Or the new AIDS research project at Entropia. Or the Flu vaccine project... I think I'd better not race for awhile after this race, so I can keep my options open. :)

As for power bills, you have a crackrack, right? Why not just sell off the parts, and simply enjoy a distributed project (any of them) on your main machine?

I think I'm going to make TMR a distributed game server. :) It would be nice to have the nodes able to fire up a dedicated game per a machine. I would need to get more ram for each machine though. :)
