Does water count? I use an electric and don't have that much facial hair to begin with. I'll probably never use a razor; I'm jumpy and I just know accidents will happen when I start shaving close to my throat or jugular.

I actually used a razor for the first time today (been using electrics my whole life) - was getting rid of the beard and decided to get a close shave, and I've had a mach 3 for three years in it's packaging, so I gave it a try. It gives you a much closer shave than any electric I've used (I have a Braun Activator, and it's a pretty nice razor), and I didn't nick myself at all. I think if you aren't using a straight razor you aren't likely to cut yourself.
