After power outtage, improper shutdowns, GPU won't work.

Hello, I am having random and confusing intermittent problems with my GPU. IT will regularly stop working, only to magically start working again later.

For example, I was using my GPU fine last night, left computer on at night, and there was a power outtage for a few seconds. This morning, it won't boot. I have to use onboard graphics, the monitor goes into "sleep" mode when I select DVI-2(the GPU) and works fine when I select HDMI (onboard).

This happens fairly regularly, however, when I clear cmos, reboot, no improvement.

However, this happens regularly, and once in a while I will simply try to use it and it works fine for a while.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

oops thought it was in my signature gotta fix that,

Windows 7 64 bit home premium
AsRock Z87 Extreme4
Intel i7 3770k
Seasonic M12 II Bronze 750w
16 GB g.skill ram
WD Storage HD 2 TB
Kingston Hyper SSD 120 GB
Dell 3008WFP 30'' monitor
Two attached mice via USB, one keyboard

The DVI cable at least works SOME of the time, I will try to get the card to work with my HDMI cable also and see if that fixes it, if so I just need to pick up a new DVI cable and that would be convenient 🙂
