My wife cuts mine, and does a damn fine job. I'm sure the $40 clippers have more than paid for themselves in the past 3 years.

I hope you had a wash, cut, dye and style done for that much. If not, you're paying way too much.

Either way, you still look like a goon. 😉

😀

I had a consultation, then had my hair washed, conditioned, and head massaged. The act of cutting my hair took nearly an hour - and it's short! No clippers involved, only scissors and razors.

He's a top-rated stylist and is employed by Matrix to do shows, magazine shoots, etc. Very hard to get an appointment.

Oh Puleeeze. Consultation? Get over yourself.

but, but, hes in the matrix!

i got a shampoo, neck massage and head massage, and a haircut for $4 bucks while i was in taiwan.... all done by 2 sexay taiwanese girls too 😀

40 bucks for a chick's haircut isn't squat...wait until they get it permed my Ex used to drop 150 bucks at the salaon!

LOL!! And this from a female! (well, supposedly😛)
😛

It takes me 4 times of getting my haircut for me to get up to $40. Also, I rarely get my hair cut. 🙂

Damn. That means you even pay less then me for a cut and I go bimonthly at least.

Can you really put a price on a good cut? Nothing worse than walking around with crappy hair.

How about walking around with a festering mouth sore?

I spent $40 for my prom haircut, like 5 years ago. Since then, the most I have spent, is like $18.

Yep! I pay about $10 each time and I go about every 6 months, depending on whether or not I think my hair needs it.

I don't think I could pay over $20 for a haircut! I don't need some one to wash my hair, because I can just do it when I get home. Also, I don't plan on coloring my hair and if I wanted it colored I'd do it myself.

40 dollars is not unusual for a guys haircut. That's not to say it's not pricey. Basically you are paying for the area, and reputation of the stylist and his time. When I worked in a salon, we charged 20 bucks for a guy's cut which included a shampoo and styling and took about 20-30 mins.

I do hair out of my home now due to the fact that I have 2 boys to look after, and I charge guys 10 bucks. I don't wash or style though. If I went to work "down town" then I could easily charge 40-50 bucks for a guys cut.

$40 is not expensive, I usually drop $75-$80 for cut and color, more if I get my nails done.

Men don't pay for the womans haircut/style.
That is their responsibility.

if he is what you say he is, you are missing a zero. it should be $400 for the hair cut. 😛

Ya, I'd pay 40 bucks for a nice haircut, if it would get me some poon.

I usually pay 20 + tips,.....

Its doing half the job a 40 dollar cut would do(think about it slowly, hehe)
