After optomized bios settings, 3dmark2001 doesnt work. Reason for concern or common occurance?

Well yeah after I ajusted my Abit-kt7a-raid bios info to the suggested optomized settings, 3dmark starts but then pop backs to windows. Does this happen to anyone else? Should I be concerned? I've tried playing games - Rune - it worked fine, no problem. Thanks for any info.
