hrrmmmm,

Run-down: New built machine: X2 4200+, Asus A8N-SLI, two ATI X300 video cards pci-e (for four monitor support).

Get into Windows just fine, install drivers for everything, install ATI drivers, no issues. Restart > Get to the screen where it shows Windows logo and it loading, gets past that screen into a black screen. The monitor light stays green. I try switching the cord to either of the DVI and the other VGA, with the light going amber for those other ports.

Turn it off > turn it back on > before the windows logo loading screen, it says Windows didn't load properly, so I choose the last good configuration. I then successfully get into Windows, go to the device properties, and the four video card drivers are showing not installed.

What can I do? What would cause this? I have done this EXACT same setup a half a dozen times in the last few months with no issues what-so-ever.

----- Just so you know, i've already swapped out the video cards. I tried installing the ATI drivers and restarting and just having one video card in rather than two, and it SUCCESSFULLY starts up. Add the other video card, same problem as above. I've tried switching video card slots, no success. I've tried changing the EZ-Plug device to set SLI to ON, with no input from either video card. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

One of the things I am going to do if it isnt some dumb simple fix. Problem is that it is kind of late, so I don't expect an answer tonight.
