After how long would you be concerned if your package tracking hadn't been updated?

in almost two days.

I sent a package Tuesday to Boston, and the last tracking update I had was for late Wednesday night letting me know that the package had crossed the border into the states.. since then it hasn't updated at all.

I should have sent the package via UPS or Fedex, because with them you know if the delivery driver is taking a piss, and how many millimeters the package is from it's destination.

How long would you guys wait before calling customer service?
 
I was told that if i were to send a package ask them to scan it right then in front of you... i have never tried it so I wouldn't know
