After dropping 27 lbs in 10 weeks, I'm starting to rebound... I've gained about 4 back.

I was eating so well for 10 weeks. Not starving myself, and still having the occasional treat.

I've started to get stressed with school, so I've been eating lots of cereal, pizza, chocolate bars (last night), soft drinks.

As soon as the stress came, the bad habits came back in full force.

I keep trying to say "I won't do this" and I'm still cracking. Why have I lost the motivation that I had just 2 weeks ago?

gaining weight is so much easier than losing it 🙁

try loading your fridge w/ healthy snacks, so when you're hungry for a snack you have no choice.

Dunno why, but you can get back!!!

80% of how you look is what you eat. Go figure.

I'm 3 weeks into a low carb diet and have dropped 10. I'm working my a$$ off so I can get into some different pants, or the majority of what's in my closet. That means NO SUGAR!!!

I love sweets and going to the bakery but I want to see my waistline dissapate more than I want the sweets.

Besides, hot chics don't like fat guys.

Don't worry if you slip from time to time, take a longer view.....look at the quarter, how's your eating been? Allow one day when you can eat what you want. If you can't resist, chew a big bite of cake or pizza and spit it out.

Keep your fridge stocked up on fruits. When you need that sugar rush, at least it will be an orange instead of a snickers bar.

It is hard when you are stressed because your body immediately craves sugar and fat. Natural response. When stressed your body starts to try to store for the long hard times ahead. You need to be more conscious of that and balance the meals. Eat more often with less calories, and then allow yourself a small sweet or fatty snack in those meals. Drink plenty of water after the snack.

So far it's just been a change in diet.

I know it's an excuse, but I really don't have time to go to the gym with full time work and the 3 classes I'm taking.

Wait til' Winter sets in in that miserable City you're in; you'll be the fattiest fatty to ever walk the Land.

You need to find other ways to deal with the stress. I'm sure you've heard that before but that is probably a big part of what could hold you back from hitting your goal.

Drink water, I swear to god it has been the key to my weight loss... I used to weigh around 185 and at one point peaked at 200! (but it quickly went down to 190 the next morning). When I saw my weight get that high, I knew I had to do something about my weight and I hadn't a clue what to do because for the most part I was drinking lots of juice and didn't eat much food.

Realizing that being the main portion of my meals, I simply replaced juice with water. Within a month I had gone down to 180 (from the 190) and I continued from there, excited to see how much I could lose since it would just continuously go down.. The difference in diet from then and now is that I eat a little bit more in foods and drink a good amount of water. Thing is, I don't feel deprived either because I still drink soda, juices or even egg nog, just not so often, maybe around every other day...

You don't need to go to the gym to excercise your body... do basic aerobics, run, swim, etc. See you obviously have SOME time, because you're taking time to post here, and you likely have time to do a lot of other activities. Even just walking that extra distance instead of driving can help. Diet is something you're controlling, but it won't work with diet alone. 🙂

Good luck to you!
