how to PM someone here without having to go through the trouble of looking for one of his/her posts via search...and even then I'd have to use the advanced options. IF this is indeed a missing feature, it's something that must be implemented asap, no excuses.
 
Go into the PM screen where you check new messages, etc. The first option says Username: and Send.
 
Go into your private message section. At the top you can type in a username and hit "send".
