Well, he could tell them they opted not to "cut it off." Maybe that would make the boys feel somewhat better :p.

I have two little girls (one's birthday is tomorrow) that will be teenages both in about 10 and 11 years respectively.

Thank god I'm already going gray. I should be white and/or bald by then.
