Afrika for PS3

Text

The wiki entry sheds some light on what the gameplay is going to be. What do you guys think? The visuals are indeed impressive but I wonder what the game is going to be like.

That's the first time I've seen a release date, didn't know they anounced it. I just assumed this would be vaporware for quite some time.

That game looks like a fantastic waste of good development resources. 🙁 It looks really nice, but it'd have to be a lot better than it sounds to get me to spend $60 on it.

Seems to be something different, glad people are trying different stuff...

But, I think Afrika: Big Game Hunter, Afrika: The Revenge of the Boers, or Afrika: The Zulu Hordes would have been more commercially successful.

Maybe you can trade-in your awesome safari pictures for sniper rifles, M16, RPG, land mines, compound bow, and other hunting weapons as you progress through the game.

Different != fun. Why don't you spend $60 on the game, spend 100 hour playing it and tell us how much you enjoyed it. 😉

What about Hakuna Matata?

Afrika Renamed Hakuna Matata Outside Of Japan? 😕

As for the game itself, I'm with mugs on this one.
Not worth my $60. I also played Pokemon Snap and never liked it.

Recently I played through Bioshock again and I enjoyed the photography portion of the game and I can only hope that it works something like that. I'm definitely not going to write off the game until I can take a crack at it--it could be interesting.
