Is it possible to make a thread in ATOT without arousing someone's dirty mind? :lips:

I keep trying to imagine a snake lifting a full grown man off the ground and into a tree. I don't think there's a snake strong enough to do it, and I'm pretty sure there are no snakes that hunt by hooking large prey into trees anyway.

Agreed.

I have held a 12-foot python. It's big, but not THAT big.

The big gap in the story is that "He would have been swallowed." There's absolutely no way a snake could swallow anything more than a head/leg/arm. The shoulders/hips are far too big for a snake that size to handle.

Def shens.

I agree with SlitheryDee, like I said, I've handled a 12-foot bermese python, and a 10-foot boa constrictor, they would not be able to pull up a man unless he weighs less than 100 pounds, and no chance that they could ever swallow a person. The ones I handled were fed rabbits and they can't handle a whole lot more than that.
