Afri-Cola

Anyone else had this? It's a little different than Coke and Pepsi... little sweeter, different tinge to it. Good stuff. I'm just curious how old it is, who makes it, etc.

Anyone ever had Afri-cocoa? Cocoa flavored liqure good stuff we had a bottle from when we usedto live in Zambia...intresting taste, didnt even seem like alchol even though it was 40%

I remember reading in the Caffeine FAQ a while back that Afri-Cola has the highest amount of caffeine. Here's a sampling of the caffeine rates in milligrams for each drink:

Afri-Cola: 100
Espresso: 100
Brewed coffee: 80 - 135
Jolt: 71.2
Mountain Dew: 55
Coke: 45.6
Pepsi: 37.2

As far as soft drinks go, it looks like Afri-Cola is the one to go with if you need to quickly wake up.

What kind of bottle is it in? when i had it, it was clear glass, witht hese two scallopped parts to put your hand. and there was a palm tree on it. looked cool

i'll bet that the US version is plastic though

Im only 16 but i dont know why ...but when we were little my uncle always usedto give us a little bit in these shotglasses he had lol....kinda weird, never really felt buzzed off that sip either...anyways yeah lol

Nope, same bottle. I think that's part of the appeal.

It sounds like "Africa" but I think afri-cola.com is in German. It's expensive too.

Afri-Cola? We used to have it here in Finland. It was "el-cheapo" coke. I believe they renamed it to Classic Cola some time ago (at least they did in here. Classic Cola is available right now)
