Affordable iPod speaker dock?

Finally got an iPod touch and also ordered a $150 logitech dock that had some great reviews. I'm looking for a simpler, cheaper one to use in my office - nothing fancy, just affordable and elegant (i.e. I don't want to get an amp and speakers because of the wire mess). Suggestions? I remember a sub-$50 dock getting a lot of positive forum buzz but don't recall the model or BRAND.

wal-mart has a good nice wood one it was like $29 - it was almost too loud. it complains it isn't compatible and may make noise but doesn't ever.

setting of 2-3 is the max you can put it in an office without bugging others.

I feel like iHOme is the Sony of iPhone/Pod gear; Good stuff, but overpriced.

I'd check this place out and bid on one of the JBL docks, some good deals on there.
