CM is out of the AM4 adapter for the Hyper 212 EVO cooler, so mine sits idle. They are expecting more in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime can anyone recommend an alternative? Budget is $50; I have fans from Cougar that are nice and quiet an move a respectful amount of air, and I would prefer a cooler that does NOT use the brackets that came with my mobo (which I had to remove to install the stock Wraith Stealth setup). I'm not a mad gamer or overclocker, so liquid is not necessary. Thanks for any air recommendations you have!

Maybe the dark tower slim?

Designed to be on the quiet side as opposed to cool side however if you are going Ryzen 3000 extra cooling doesn’t appear to bring much to the table. Good enough is good enough.

Slightly out of budget but $65 isn’t bad
May be cheaper on amazon but there are two slim models with similar names, one is difficult to mount.

Thanks for that link. Yeah, I may do some mild OC in the near future, but I've never been one to push the hardware to BSOD limits. So far the stock cooler is quiet and keeps the CPU running at acceptable temps. I'll see if I can find the BeQuiet model that mounts more easily.

One that is all black is the new design, no silver or any other color but black.
