affectionate lion kisses lady who saved him

Reminds me of Aesop's fable where a shepard removes a thorn from a lion's paw and the lion sticks up for him later on.

"Gratitude is the sign of noble souls."

I heard another story where a person removes a thorn from a lion's paw, and then meets up with the lion later...the lion attacks the man, and the man screams about how he helped the lion - the lion says, 'what do you expect, I'm a lion'...

I've heard the story told about a snake too.

But that is an incredible picture! It's good to see people like Mrs. Torres...

How cute 🙂

Although that pic looks like the beginning of one of those Worlds Craziest Videos where the next thing you know the lion pulls her hard against the cage and starts biting her head off.

Then the "technical difficulties" clip starts playing with the happy music.

But snakes don't have paws?

After seeing several videos where it turns insanely crazy I'd be weary of having a lion hug me. Especially after knowing that even though you attempt to domesticate them, ala Sigfried and Roy, that doesn't mean that they won't maul you to death!
