So I have accumulated some Aeroplan miles and wondering what are the best ways to get the most bang for my miles?
You can't just convert them into cash can you? Buying merchandise immediately seems like a bad deal considering they want 100,000+ miles for a simple TV.
As for flights, at first glance most destinations seem to be about 25,000 miles for a return flight. A few are 15,000. And you still have to pay the taxes.
Anyone here have any experience using these? Any rules of thumb to get the best rates? Certain days that are best to travel? or avoid? Is there a big difference between international flights versus within the country?
