I have one, and they are fine chairs, but, no, I don't think they're worth the price. You pay a premium for the hype.

Not sure about the Aeron but I sat in some Herman Miller chairs at CostCo the other day and they were definitely significantly more comfortable than the office chairs we are given at work or the one I have at home, even though they weren't as adjustable. I think the Aeron is very adjustable so I conclude that they would be good chairs. For the price, perhaps not.

as capt caveman says, an exercise ball is a better chair. it works your core, which reinforces your lower back from injury.

How does this work in an average office? I would assume desks have to have their height adjusted quite a bit to accommodate this?

most desks have about the same height. just get the average exercise ball and fill it full. you should be fine.

No, they are overrated. The arms of the chair never like to stay up, the plastic end of the chair digs into your thighs and cuts off circulation, and it lacks a headrest. I'd like to sell the damn thing and be done with it.

And before anyone asks, I did choose the correct size (Size B).

did you tried it to and sure it's the right size? (i mean, you could be tall but with short legs)

I guess I just want something to sit in for a long period of time that rolls and is not a ball, lol. Also, I tend to hate any "office" chair I have ever sat in.

No, I do not have back problems. Just sick of sitting in this dining room Ikea chair.

Hmm, I might have to try the exercise ball. During my busy season, I'm at my desk 14+ hours a day.
