Aero bars on bike?

I have a Fuji Newest road bike, and it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made--but for longer rides I can't seem to find that "ideal" position. From watching people use aero bars it seems like that that would make for a very comfortable relaxing position for my upper body to be in while my lower body does all the work.

They're kind of more expensive than I thought they'd be, anywhere from $80-$200..but I've found this one which seems to pretty much offer all I need for a good price:

Any thoughts on these?
 
I personally find aero much less comfortable than in the uprights, but I believe it's in great part because I'm still searching for the right position. Clearly others do ok, as they can hold it for hours.

I had some cheap clip on aeros (cheaper than in your pic) I used for a while without issue including a few races. Those ones will probably be fine. I am not sure why a person would spend tons on some of the others as all they seem to do is offer a couple of more positions and some negligible weight reduction.
 
I love aerobars on long rides that aren't in town. Any type of stop & go and it's more trouble than their worth to get in position. I find them comfortable and you are naturally more aerodynamic. The ones you linked to are similar to my own so I say go for it. My biggest gripe is that I have trouble fitting a headlight & computer on my bars because aerobars occupy most of the space.

You can work around it. I dare say that 95%+ of people with aero bars have a cycle computer. Many even have a base that pivots 90 degrees so that it can be attached to the aero bars themselves, but even if not I'm sure you can find a way to mount it.

And, worse case, you suffer with it at a bad angle for a while, which gives you an excuse to buy a new wireless one 🙂

 
yes, the cyclo computer is easy, it's finding a place for a headlight that's difficult (I commute on my road bike).
