advise on gambling problem

My wife asked me to build her a pc she never had one before so i built one for her. little did i know what she would use it for. i need advise on what i should do about her gambling. she gambles $200 to $400 a week on Bingo, i have talked to her about it, and she cut down for a few weeks but she is right back where she was, i can block the websites but she will know i did it. i really dont know what to do about this any advise will be considered thanks.

Get her to play poker instead. 7-card stud, now theres a game of skill. Bingo, bleh. Seriously though, who earned the money she is spending? If its hers, I think you just have to live with it...if its yours...well...I'd put my foot down.

Sit down with your wife when both of you have some time, and tell her how much you love her, and make certain that she knows that since you love her so much, you do not want to see her being mentally controlled by anything (such as addictive habits like gambling) except herself.... If you make the point clear, it will have a powerful impact on her.

Well, I don't know if this would help, but... Teach her the fundamentals of mathematical probability and statistics. Show her that in the long run, there is no possible way for her to make any money through gambling. Maybe she's looking for something fun to do?

thanks for advise everyone, thing is she hit couple big jackpots and i think that hooked her, one for $900 another for $1400 but it cost her that much to win it. after she won first one i tried it and lost $50 in 2 hours i gave up after that, i hate to lose money gambling.

Only let her play at pogo.com (free games), but sooner or later she will play for real money somewhere else.

guy at work gambles away about $15-20 per day. He ignores losses, but when he wins he thinks it's pure proffit--free money!
Otherwise he's really smart....

edit: If her computer goes down for a day and she freaks out, that would be a good time to talk.
