Its easy enough to put a patch on? How do you propose to dismount and mount the tire? Are you going to balance it yourself too?
Standard DIY patch kits (unlike the "mushroom" patches) don't require removal of the tire. You just rough up the hole, smear goop all over the hole and the ribbon-like rubber patch, and then use a tool to push the rubber patch into the hole. The rubber around the hole will flex enough that you can push in a patch, and have it form an airtight seal when you remove the tool. Once the glue dries it's permanent.
In my younger and dumber days, I used to patch motorcycle tires that way. Never had a problem, but I wouldn't do it now.
