Advice on WC Pump and Block

After reading through this forum for awhile I've narrowed it down to a few pumps and waterblocks. This is my first WC setup so I'm a complete noob.

I'll be using a very large heatercore (can't remember the dimensions of the top of my head), possibly two depending on how well one works out. The WC setup needs to cool a 3700+ SD and an X850XT PE.

Here are the blocks I'm considering:
D-Tek Whitewater
Swiftech 6002-64
Danger Den RBX

Here are the pumps:
Swiftech MCP600 (Leaning towards this one, found a used Rev. 2 for $60)
Eheim 1250
AquaExtreme 50Z (same as MCP600?)
Hydor L30 (probably go well with the Swiffy 6002 since it's not very powerful)

I'm on a pretty small budget so I don't mind giving up 1-2C if the price is a lot better.

What do you guys think?

Hmmm...

Out of the pumps, the Swiftech is the best for its price, but good luck finding it. I checked EVERYWHERE and absolutely ZERO venders had them in stock, and Swiftech's own store didn't even have any in stock!! So I went ahead and ordered the Dangerden TDX, which is doing quite well. Also, I wouldn't consider the Whitewater or the RBX because those are three port blocks, which can get quite messy, so stick with two.

For the pumps, I use a Dangerden D4 pump, which is the same as the MCP600, which is the same as the AquaXtreme. They're all rebadged LAING pumps. It's nice, but kinda whiny though, you'll have to put up with the noise. I didn't consider any AC pumps like Hydors and Eheims, mainly because I don't want to have to relay them, and those pumps give off EMI.

And what block are you gonna get for your video card?

Right, but they made the TDX as a brother to the RBX...its two tubes perform just as well if not better than the RBX's 3 tubes.

I was thinking of the Maze 4 if they make it for ATI's. They seem like the popular ones.

I'll look into the DD pumps. Some people talk about probs with the Mag 3's and others say they work great so I'm a little torn.

Maze4's are great blocks but make sure you get some heatsinks for the rams too, the Mazes don't cover those (I don't think they do...)

Mags are nice but they're weak in order to be quiet. For your loop, it looks like you'll need a real pump like the D4 (or any of the others I listed, since they're all the same).

If you want good performance and don't mind a 3-barb solution, go with the whitewater. Beyond the extra plumbing needed there really aren't any inherent issues with a 3-barb. If you want a 2-barb solution then go with a TDX and a brass top. They're really quite nice and perform well. Plan on using spiral clamps for the barbs, they're made of nickel and are too slick for nylon clamps.

The DangerDen DDC pump is quiet, powerful, small and has a huge MTBF rating. I don't think you can go wrong in buying one.

Good luck in whatever you decide, Elfear.

Thanks for the advice guys. The only reason I hesitate with the TDX is because of it's higher pressure drop compared to the MCW6002. Maybe that isn't a concern with the MCP600 or D4 even with a GPU block and possibly a 2nd radiator in the loop?

It depends on the size and construction of the 2nd rad. You'd probably be better off with two pumps in parallel just to be on the safe side.
