Advice on putting server together

It is time to upgrade my old webserver (2xPIII800MHz, 1 GB PC133). My needs are pretty much meet by DELL POWEREDGE 2650, but I would like advise on different products that would give me the same just a little cheaper. My needs are as follows and will cost me 6K+ in the Dell

Dual CPU 2GH+
2 GB Ram with room to grow
5 Hot Swap drives (U320, 36GB) 2xRAID1, 3xRAID5
Good quality NIC (High Traffic) Preferably dual.
Chassis, preferably rackmountable 2U
Any suggestions on Chassis, MB, RAID, NIC, CPU's, Drives etc.
 
just take those specs and price it yourself, i think dell uses supermicro mobo's.

what is your server setup? os/databases?
