My own computer is DEAD (good riddance), but I'm a few months from being able to afford a new gaming rig. What can I do to get my Falcon4.0 fix on my mother's Celeron-400-810, while still saving up for a real gaming rig? I can't find a Voodoo around here. Has anyone worked with the Radeon-PCI? My current choices are ATI Expert 8megs($50), TNT2 M64 ($80), or an SDR Radeon for $130. The Voodoo5 is pushing my budget, and the cheapest one on pricewatch is sold by guys with AWFULL reviews on resellerratings.

I agree with HappyGamer2, but would also say that your best budget option would be a used voodoo 3 either a 2000 or a 3000 pci card. You should be able to find one for around $50 or so used. Another cheap option for at least functional game play would be a Voodoo 2 card which you should be able to find used for around $40 or less. (LMK if you want a nice Guillemot Maxigamer 3D2 12MB card in the original factory box ;) )

I wouldn't shell out more money than for a Voodoo 3, especially since you say it's only going to be a temporary solution.
