While I have changed jobs before I have never had to write an email informing my boss, her boss, his boss and his boss of this (This apparently has to go waaaaaaay up the food chain)
I am planning on thanking them for the opportunity to work for them and letting them know that I learned a lot. However, due to financial considerations I will be seeking another opportunity elsewhere.
I don't want to burn any bridges and may consider comming back later (for a different position.
