Right now I'm wearing:

Helm of Fire
Woven Ivy Necklace
Failed Flying Experiment
Deep River Cloak
Breezewind Breastplate
Deepfury Bracers w/ +7 sta
Devilsaur Gauntlets
Frostbite Girdle (SC Belt in bank)
Devilsaur Pants
SC Boots
Mason's frat ring
Falcon's hook
Random trinket (Argent Dawn, Carrot, etc)
IoTH

Weapons:
Thrash/Dirk, 21/8/22 spec

Just hit 60 tonight, been working on doing instances (especially scholo and UBRS) to get my gear, but with my guild, no matter how hard I try, I never seem to have a good opportunity to get gear. If it were the beginning of june, this wouldn't be a problem, but as is, I'm starting school in a few weeks and I'd like to get all the loot I can until then. I realize my gear needs work - especially my greens, but I'd also like to pick up some new weapons, and I have NO idea where to get some new ones. I'm working on getting a shifting cloak (farming EoW's and transmuting them in my free time, have leather, getting hides, etc)

What would you guys recommend in terms of the most efficient way to get better gear, specifically gearing to do MC - that is, what instances should I focus on, what should I do when I'm not able to do those instances.

Oh- and pickup groups/members are hard to get, because they look at my guild tag and just laugh at me. I SHOULD join a new guild, but I'm used to the people in mine, and I've grown sort of attatched.

Thanks,
Snuggles (Thunderlord)

leather just ain't my bag *insert leather ball joke here*

what do you mean you cant get loot with your guild? you don't run enough instances? id say find a different guild...

though, i was able to gear up quite nicely being unguilded because I had a few good RL friends that would often group with me for the instances I wanted to do. track down the items you want (inspect other rogues, see what they are wearing, browse the class forums and ask for suggestions). once you know where they are just do those instances over and over till you get it. if you want more opportunities, you gotta network outside your guild it seems.

Yea, I try networking outside my guild. I have a good friend that I actually introduced to WoW (We played BFV, EQ, AA, etc, outside this) but now he's kinda being an ass and doesn't want to run instances with me - He plays a lot more than I do, has a much better guild, and basically WTFPWNs anything he sees (Blastershot Launcher, 3 pieces of giantstalker, etc etc.) He was going to be my main connection, because he's the hunter class leader, but he doesn't exactlys seem enthusiastic to help me.

Networking outside the guild is tough because I don't have a chance to meet that many other people, as I'm a rogue and soloed all my levels.

And yea, we just don't run enough good instances to get loot.
