Advice on decent CDR for about $100 Please.

I am setting up a new Computer...I would like some suggestions on some quiet CDR. As long as speed is above 16x I don't really care. I currently own a Plextor 8/4/32 and makes too much noise when it reads certain CDs. Anybody else having this problem?

Newegg's got a great deal on a Toshiba CD-RW/DVD combo for 100 even. might wanna check that out: TOSHIBA CD-RW/DVD-ROM -COMBO, MODEL# SD-R1202

The Lite On 40x12x48x can be had for $106 on newegg. It was found to be the best in it's class in a roundup done on CDRinfo.com. It is a bit noisy but most cdroms are when reading at a high speed. I believe there is a utility that you can use to cut the speed of your cdrom down so that it doesn't spin so fast and vibrate so much.
