I laugh at the people who are giving the OP hell for not knowing his drug terminology. Not necessarily a good area to be intelligent in.

yea really.

I know one of his warrants is for truancy, if the other one is equally petty I think I will just have a cop I know pick him up and on those then tell the parents he is deealing too. Good idea or bad?

If it was me I'd just leave it alone. None of my business. Now if it was my own brother, that's different.

Also, what's he selling? And is it a dime and a half a week ($15) or fifteen hundred a week ($1500)?

1500, weed/pot. If it was your brother what would you do?

i'd say get him out of town.. but who knows, it's really up to him wether he changes... if he wants to change, he'll go to this new town and make a new life.. if he doesn't, he'll just be the dealer of this next town, and screw up a bunch of other young kids...

I suppose I'd try to make him understand the consequences of his actions and that he could fvck up his life by continuing what he's doing. Having him hang out with a different crowd would be a good idea too.

Well... I'd try my best to talk him into it, that failing, he might see differently when he gets busted.

I didn't realize that a minor could be bailed out of jail by another teenager without his parents being at least notified. Weird. Anyway, you shouldn't have been involved with that, you are not the kid's mommy. Don't try to take responsibility for this kid. Work on yourself instead. If you're honestly afraid drug dealers will kill you, you need to seriously look at your lifestyle and priorities.

1) I know enough to stay out of trouble.
2) I have to leave town.
3) or rat someone out and get killed.
Is it just me, or does statement #1 not mesh well with #2 and #3?

My suggestion: stay out of trouble. While it isn't something he should be doing, it isn't any of your business either. Let him be, he'll learn his lessons the hard way.

If you have to stick your nose into his business for some odd reason, the most you should do is to drop hints to his family that they should watch out for him. However, I suspect if he already has been in jail and has two other warrants, the parents will know soon if they don't already know.

I found out he was using about two months ago, he si only 16 and now he is selling($1500 a week), and he isnt smart enough to be in that line of work. I ran into him at a party he shouldnt have been at, he picked a fight and I had to get my hands dirty to bail him out, the guys he picked a fight with are about the worst people he could have pissed off. If they have a runin again when Im not there its gonna be ugly. He already has two petty warrants, and the way he is going he will end up in dead or in jail within the next year. His sister and family have no idea what he is into, and they dont know I party either.

Should I have his parents get him out of town or call the police? If I go to his parents and they call the police my name might get back to his dealer and that means I have to leave town, if I go to the police he could go away for a long time, or rat someone out and get killed. I dont know much about these situations, I know enough to stay out of trouble but I have no idea how to handle this now that he is already in deep.

Edit: Guess I dont party hard compared to ATOT.

Dealers just dont go around killing those who notify parents of problems. They find other sources, its easier. I highly doubt your life is in jeapordy, otherwise cops would be killed left and right for doing their jobs.

Not really afraid of being killed, just pointing out worse case scenario if I get involved without knowing anything about this stuff. And I didnt bail him out of jail, I bailed him out of trouble, got involved in the fight then drove him away before the police showed up, in hindsight I should have let the police deal with him.
