I am not too familiar with how the board you have is set up but I just modded my Voodoo 5500 card and its really easy. If you have a heatsink on there now you can either install a fan that fits the dimensions of your heatsink or you can remove it and start from scratch. My heatsinks were glued on so I wrapped my board in seran wrap, put it in the freezer for half and hour, then put a flat razor under the heatsink and the pc board, finally carefully inserted a flathead screwdriver between the two and twisted. The heatsinks will just pop off. Now you can very carefully, with a straight edged razor, shave off the excess glue and use rubbing alcohol to clean up the chip. I chose the Blue Orbs. You can see my card here.Voodoo mod

Please be patient, my site takes time to load but is worth the pics.

Watch out for that advice for other cards. Different manufactuors use different adheasives and for the GForce the freeze trick hasn't worked out in a few cases I know of. I modded my V5 this way too and it worked great but not sure about other cards. This link actualy uses a GF card in example @ Tennmax.

You may not want to go snapping bits off your card with a screwdriver there are more passive solutions.;) You could use a PCI slot type cooler these usualy fill the slot below your card and blow cool or suck away warm air depending on the type. Theres a few different examples HEREmixed in with some drive coolers. The interesting new ones hook to your PCI slots screws and blow on the side like This.

The last example is as close as you can get to a side intake without cutting a hole in your case but it only circulates air already warmed in your case. That is anouther option or you could add a bottom front intake if your case doesnt have one and has the space for one. This will blow in cool air in the general direction of your cards and will help too.

The options are pretty much endless as someone is either trying something new or putting a twist on something old everyday.
