yep, kinda awkward situation and i'm looking for some help. i moved into this house (i'm renting a room) a month ago and one of the guys is living with his gf. they've been fighting a lot and now he's kicking her out. i've tried to stay out of it but... what to do? i don't know the girl at all... as long as the argument stays civil should i stay out if it? let the landlord take care of it?

help!

Stay out of it unless she pays the rent.

Personally, I'd take her aside and make sure she has a place to go - be that a friend's, parents, etc ... until things blow over.

Fight for her and her child! She can't live on the streets. Why are you even thinking twice about this?

So you wouldn't do anything if you saw someone getting raped on the streets because you're not the authority to so?

Come back without a fallacious argument and I might give some thought to it.

just stay out of it.
they'll kiss and make up and if you get involved, you're bound to have beef with either one of em. Then eventually both cuz they'll tagteam.

I agree with this stay out of it. If she is pregnant, she should be old enough to realize she should go back home or to a friends.

she's not getting thrown on the streets. she's being told to go home (her parents aren't far i understand). she's not being phsyically abused (or else i'd def step in!). if he were to have hit her i would've done something.

-- that's why he wants her to leave asap - he pays the rent and she's not on the lease.

plus to make it even uglier, she threw yogurt all over his carpet and some of his jerseys....:frown:

Burning bridges with the baby's daddy. Not smart.

Again, just stay out of it (like you're doing now) and let things run their course.

You might want to also pull your housemate aside and make sure he's not letting his anger get the best of him. He could come to regret what he's doing later when she decides to take him for support after the baby comes because he can't deal with her being all pregnant and emotional and stuff.
