my advice would be the following.

1) If you want to get ahead be ambitious
2) If you are going to talk back know what you are talking about
3) When in doubt keep your mouth shut and listen.
4) Ask as many questions as you can when you start a job cause you will look stupid if you ask n00b questions down the road.
5) Try to understand everyone elses job but be very good at yours
6) Be vocal about your opinions, if you think something is wrong say it.
7) Take the initiative whenever possible, it will look good for you.
8) ALWAYS meet or exceed your deadlines. Your reputation is based on this.
9) If you want to get ahead be ambitious

Show respect to your elders. Both my wife and my mother are currently having to deal with these young, twentyish upstarts at their places of work. After working there for only a month or so they start bossing other employees around even though these other employees are much older and have been working there a lot longer. And since these kids are in a position that does NOT give them authority over other employees, I wonder where they get such balls!

It's common to be over-confident and feel like you know everything when you are in you're twenties. But you don't!

i actually do know more then you.

You havn't been in the workforce very long have you? Probably in your mid-late twenties?

Learn how to explain things to people without showing irritation if they don't get it the first time. Find ways to make yourself busy during downtime without neffing on ATOT if possible 🙂
