advice for a kk266 owner...

kk266 board..750 tbird..140 fsb thats about all i can go without lockups...i have 160 ram,, swiftek cooler,,gf3,,sound blaster live......any ideas how i can get higher fsb??? or do i have a chip that doesent like to go any higher??? ps..ram settings make no diffrence..cas 2 3 ?? i,ve seen others at a gig or above...:frown:
runnin win98.......think win 2000 would help at all??

I think it may be your 750 Tbird..the earlier lower speed birds may have some trouble with high FSB's..

What about NIC or modem? I know my nic doesn't like going even a few mhz out of spec.

maybe i should try unpluging my external dsl (usb) and maybe sound card then try to go higher....experiment.. thanks guys for the input
