Advice Buying a Computer.

Hey guys, i'm buying some parts online to build myself a new PC, i'm buying pretty much everything brand new but theres some parts i'll take from my old build, namely the ide hard drive and dvd drive and my montior.

I'll be using this system for web design programming and application programming also, so i'll have lots of IDE's open, i'd also be using photoshop and that lark alot too. I'd also like to use the system to play 1080p movies and do some good gaming.

I've been looking around for a while and this is what i've come up with.

First of the Case and the Power Supply Unit

I've chosen the Antec 300 Case and a Cosair 620W HX Modular PSU

For the motherboard i've chosen a MSI P45 Neo3-FR

For the processor and cooling fan i have a Q6600 G0 Stepping OEM and the Scythe Katana 2

For memory i've gone with Corsair 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2

For the graphics cards i'm going for the Sapphire Radeon 4850

And finally i'm getting myself one Seagate 500GB Sata Hard Drive

Thats the system and it comes to a grand total of £575. What i would love to know from you guys is is it worth it? Could i do much better to get a different part, what about the parts i've chosen will they do the job?

I know it's a lot to read but i'm a bit unease about spending this much money without being completely sure, so if theres any advice you can give please please do 🙂

Looks good to me. I assume you're going to be using the mobo on-board sound?

One other thing, Corsair is good solid memory, but I prefer OCZ. I find there's less variability in OCZ's RAM chips (less eom's making their chips).

Okidoke, i'll look into the OCZ memory, theres some for a pound more with equally as good reviews 🙂

Yeh i will be using built in sound card it'll do fine!
