I'm planning to buy a monitor and i have some questions about it. I want a glossy screen (because i used it in a dark room and i used matte screens until now and i hate them)and it must be 23-24 inches. Which monitor that you advice?(Couple of alternatives will be good)

Dell S2440L is a decent option. The only reason I didnt go for it was due to the glossy screen but if you play in a dark room it would be nice.

Those 2 websites that XiandreX provided are really the fundamental locations to check into how good a monitor can be in comparison to others. TFTCentral even has a choice selection quiz that helps, but sometimes won't produce many results if you have too many requirements.

To really give a good recommendation, we'll need to know:
  • The primary purpose of the display
  • What FPS is your minimum (for gaming; if you need 120hz)
  • Color accuracy and gamut requirements (e.g. if you do any photography or videography work)
  • How sensitive to refresh rates and input lag you are (if at all)
  • Amount of workspace needed (affects size and resolution requirements)

How about you give us a link to the site(s) you would buy from, then someone can have a quick check and find a decent monitor we know you can get hold of.

This.

I was going to recommend the S2440L too, but saw you couldn't get it in Turkey. Is there a chance you can order it from somewhere and ship it over?

glossy effect gives better picture quality but adds more glare. s2440L as people suggested seems perfect. there should be a place where you can get that monitor or something close to it

Personally, I'd rather have the small bit of glare from glossy monitors than matte-surfaced monitors. I can't stand them to be honest
