I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post, but I did a search and it seems that people have posted similar topics here.
Anyways, here is my situation/question:
I have had a laptop from Cyberpower System since mid-Feb., and I have had to send it back to replace a messed up HDD about 1 month ago. In an email I recieved from them, they said that when I had it repaired, they gave me "2 weeks evaluation period for you to check it out" (this was in regards to an email I sent about a return).
Anyways, now my cd drive is fvcked up: it won't recognize any cd in the drive. After looking around, it seems that the drive is broken. So, I will be sending it back.
Now to my question:
I'm going to try to get a refund for it, since it's had a faulty HDD and cd drive... do you think I have a valid complaint and a shot of getting a refund (right now, the original money back period and the 2 week extension are long gone)? If not, do you think there is a chance to get it repaired, get a "2 weeks evaluation period", and return it during that time?
thanks
