I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post, but I did a search and it seems that people have posted similar topics here.

Anyways, here is my situation/question:

I have had a laptop from Cyberpower System since mid-Feb., and I have had to send it back to replace a messed up HDD about 1 month ago. In an email I recieved from them, they said that when I had it repaired, they gave me "2 weeks evaluation period for you to check it out" (this was in regards to an email I sent about a return).

Anyways, now my cd drive is fvcked up: it won't recognize any cd in the drive. After looking around, it seems that the drive is broken. So, I will be sending it back.

Now to my question:

I'm going to try to get a refund for it, since it's had a faulty HDD and cd drive... do you think I have a valid complaint and a shot of getting a refund (right now, the original money back period and the 2 week extension are long gone)? If not, do you think there is a chance to get it repaired, get a "2 weeks evaluation period", and return it during that time?

thanks

Wrong forum :p

But sure, go ahead and try. If you complain enough they may let you return it. If not, then just have them fix the CD drive and be happy. You wanted the notebook in the first place, right?

hehe, what forum should it have gone in? sorry for the mispost =(

And yeah, I do want the laptop, but I don't want to have to worry about what else will go wrong with it (2 things in less than 3 months) later.

again, sorry for the mispost.
