Advertising Suggestions - tips - anything ???

Well, we have been in business for a while but haven?t really done any marketing (mostly through word of mouth). Need some tips from you guys.

1. I have already placed ads on google adwords and overture (both paid service)
2. Next week we will run ads on Chicago Tribune.

I want to know what other ways/options i can explore tp get some good leads. Does anyone know of any good places (paid or free) for placing ads? Also wouldn?t mind if some of you folks helped me in back linking - heard this helps in google search listing.

PS: what we do: Computer support in Chicago area for home, small business and law firms.

maybe somenone who is running a business similiar to what we are doing.... any tips, pointers? or any business people here on AT thant want to share some ideas.
 
1 to 2 grand a month. more if things grow at a better rate. Basically we will try to put as much in marketing for another 6 months. I mean we really have'nt done any marketing yet and i think once we get the word out to the general public - hopefully the sales should see a steady growth.

Now - i dont mind (and i'm sure every business person would agree) free advertising or cheap advertising - but i'm also not saying that i won't spend any money.

we spent some good money on the website you're seeing now - this one is a lot better than what we had before... which IMO you couldn't even call a webpage.
