Dude I loved it. I never got past the beginning levels I think, but I remember it was a lot of fun.

Definitely remember, definitely hard, great game though. Master higgins different death animations were amusing. The bosses always cracked me up too, how he didnt really have any animation, he just kinda slid around...

Games seemed more difficult back then, but I suppose it could have been my age.

How many games come out these days where you take one hit and you're dead? :p

I remember having to call the nintendo power help line when I couldn't figure out some code that was supposed to be in the manual, but I had rented the game and there was no manual with it.

Yeah I remember it being quit insanely difficult. Wasn't it like one hit and you were dead, plus when you died you practically started the whole level over.... plus no save game either. It was practically like castlevania 1.

They made Wonder Boy for the NES? I had a few Wonder Boy games on my Sega Master System.

I played and finished this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonder_Boy_III:_The_Dragon's_Trap

Great game!

Star Tropics. You were supposed to dip a page of the manual in water or something. One of my favorite NES games

Definitely a lesser-known classic.

If only there were pliers strong enough, to get the stick out of your ass...
