Advantages of USB 3.0

Other than flash drives, what other "devices" can use the benefit / speed of USB 3.0?
I already have a board with USB 3.0 on it, so is a little too late, but just wondering what else I can use it for?

High-rez webcams, camcorders and cameras come to mind first. Not that you're gonna find many devices yet that natively support USB3...

External hard drives will benefit more than flash drives, because they are capable of holding a lot more data and thus tend to have more data flowing back/forth. USB 2.0 is a HUGE bottleneck for any modern HDD, and USB 3.0 will become more ubiquitous than eSATA.

The nail has been struck squarely on its head.

USB 3 can provide a bit more power to devices too (Wikipedia says 900mA vs 500mA for USB 2), which is handy for more bus-powered drives and such.

 Now all the iDevices will charge properly. 😛
