madshrimp's cd rom test is boring, but it's kinda cool to see what happens when you put 220volts through a regular cdr om

Plenty.

Problem is it seems like there is a bottleneck to the remote site. I cannot push more than 2 Mbps over there and it flatlines at 1.3 Mbps. Seems like a T1 IN. I can usually publish 400+ Mbps to remote sites that are on fast connections.

i got 350k/sec constant which is maxxing out the d/l cap on my end + 50k/sec extra =O

same thing happens when someone sends me files from ut-austin... i get like 550k/sec constant which shouldn't be possible considering my d/l cap is 300k/sec. oddest thing ever.
