australian astrology aside, i think carving into the moon isn't remotely feasible. however, i expect huge LED nets in orbit someday.

we won't see it from earth though unless the image is 1000 miles wide and 500 miles long. The moon is big and full of holes for the robot to get stuck/sent off track anyway. It would also take decades for it to finish. The moon is as big as Australia.

yeah, some company has been trying to project images on the moon with lasers for awhile. I think they are making progress and it is certainly a better idea than carving into the moon.
