I keep encountering annoying ads on my i9500 and can't get rid of them. I did 3 factory resets AND used adblocker plugin on firefox. Last thing to do now is to flash a new rom, tell me what can I try before, it's really annoying.
PS : They show up only when browsing and it's a big window appearing in a new tab, mostly about HOLA LAUNCHER and DR BATTERY.

You can try installing an adblocker.

Did you install an ad blocker yet? You should be able to get something that works like the Adblock Plus plugin on PCs and Macs (I use it for Safari, Chrome, and Firefox). I don't use a mobile ad blocker because iOS on iPhone doesn't have such a thing without jailbreaking the device, but there should be plenty of options for Android devices (and jailbroken iOS devices).

Still didn't get it, but maybe i'm the problem anyway. If I was an expert I could manage to solve the problem by myself.
Go to the play store.

Install Firefox browser.

Run Firefox.

Press the three vertical dots in the top right.

Tools>add ons>browse all Firefox add ons.

Install ad block plus and ghostery.

I said i have installed adblocker plugin for firefox and it still show up. It is annoying because you cant press back button to get rid of it and it pops up over your tab and you have to browse to that page again.

No. You didn't ever say that.

...but you did question the reading comprehension of a member that was trying to help you.

Go ahead and show me ANYWHERE you said that, go ahead, i'll wait.
It seems i didn't, that is why you all are so confused and why i get frustrated . Imagine i wouldn't act like that but i might have wrote the thread first one way then i changed my mind or smth idk. I understand how you all feel now but i really tought i did. Anyway if you still have any idea you can help me . Excuse me now, i think you understand. It happens.

You may as well edit the original post now -- before you get the same suggestion again 😛

Even when I "really think I did," I still make it a point to check before I respond like that.

What Web pages are giving you the pop overs? Can you link one?
Sure.. it happens frequently no matter the webpage im browsing.
