I am having trouble with the ads. When I click back, it is just trying to reload the ads. Kind of a pain. Is it just me, or has this transition to the new site gone very smoothly?

Yes, that is very much a pain! I have to click back 3 times to get back one page because of the ads not showing up! I was about to take a screen shot and post about this.

Fah-get about it. Pushing that back button is too annoying for me to deal with. Just installed Webwasher for the time being until the problem gets fixed. I don't have a problem with the banner ads, the site has to make money somehow, but it's annoying to surf with the problem as it is.

Webwasher kicks ass. The ads are gone, top and bottom. The only thing at the top is the outline of a single table cell with "Powered By Musking" in it. Went to speedvision.com, a site that uses those crazy X-10 popups, and the popup was gone as well as one of their silly banners.

I can sense a little slow down in the time it takes to draw the webpages, but I'll live with it. When the problem gets fixed I'll just add anandtech.com to the "non filtered" list and filter out the rest of the internet because this program is rocking my world!

I'm getting the same problem too. Whats worse is that the ads don't even show up in my browser, just the "The page cannot be displayed" where the ad should be.

Yup, everytime you go to a new page or enter a thread the two ads say they can't be posted. Only the Mushkin ad shows up.

ps. I'm using IE 4.05.

I'm also experiencing the same problem but only in IE, Netscape seems to handle the non-loadable ads better.

If you hit the THREADS link the page loads fine, sans ads... but if you hit back... you gotta do it 3 times..

The ads won't load for me, I just get a half loaded box with the word "problem."
