The season being over is exactly why Webb should start. Get him some game experience. Jackson and Favre will be gone next year...so unless they draft Andrew Luck or get a decent free agent, Webb is what they got.

(assuming there is a season next year of course).

damn, Jackson is gone? Yeah, guess Minn better hope that Luck falls into their laps. unless....the Redskins somehow nab him.

This is exactly the reason I gave up FF. Even the best managers (like me) can lose based on things completely out of your control and for no good reason.

I don't miss FF one bit.

Winng the whole thing has a lot of luck involved. But a good manager should consistently perform well and give themselves an opportunity to win a lot more often than not. That is me. I have made the playoffs in my main league every season in the last 4, haven't won a championship yet but have made 2-3rd every time, making money. This year I'm in the Championship game and really hoping to pull it off.

Join a leage that does overall points and not head to head for a season. Then you don't have to worry about losing matchups by a point for a week or if a player is out a game or rested come the "fantasy" playoffs. You have 17 weeks to even out the highs and lows.

I always made the playoffs and usually made the Championship. I won a few Championships along the way, too. I just got frustrated with the intrinsic randomness of it all.
